This 100-acre park also offers a cable car with stunning views of Spokane Falls. Founded in 1903, the oldest park in the city is Manito Park and Botanical Gardens. The park features a 3-acre European garden, a Japanese Garden, and Rose Hill which has over 1,500 rose bushes in more than 150 varieties. Spokane is located near two state parks, as well – Riverside State Park and Mount Spokane State Park, both of which cover over 11,000 acres.
